ENGAGEMENT MODEL / 01

MVP Fast-Track

From idea to a live product in 8–12 weeks. One team, one scope, a working demo every week.

Duration
8–12 weeks
Team
1 product lead, 1 designer, 2 engineers
Budget
Fixed scope, fixed price
Output
Live product, source code, handover docs

MVP Fast-Track is a single uninterrupted sprint built to put an idea in front of real users as quickly as possible. We cut the scope down to one core flow on day one: whichever flow proves the product's reason to exist, the first release does that one completely.

Design and engineering run in parallel. As the screen flows settle, the codebase goes up alongside them, so engineering doesn't start from zero the day design finishes. Every week closes with a clickable build running on real data — a product, not a slide deck.

Most importantly, what we hand over isn't a prototype you throw away. Tests, error tracking, authorisation, and the deployment pipeline are in place from the first week. If the MVP lands, you keep building on the same codebase; if it doesn't, you walk away with real usage data explaining why.

What's included

  • Scope cut and product framing

We reduce the idea to a single core flow and write everything outside the first release into an explicit next-release list.

  • Clickable interface design

Screen flows built with real content and agreed on before a line of production code is written.

  • Production-grade codebase

Type-safe, tested, documented. Built the same way whether we keep working on it or your team takes over.

  • AI features

Search, summarisation, classification, assistants — wherever the product genuinely needs them, with evaluation criteria attached.

  • Analytics and a feedback loop

The metric you'll watch after launch is decided up front; event tracking and dashboards ship with the product.

  • Launch and handover

Deployment pipeline, environment config, monitoring, and a handover session. All source code is yours.

Who it's for

The right model when

  • You need to be in front of real users within a quarter
  • A funding round or internal approval needs a working product
  • You're testing a new line of business inside an existing company
  • One product owner can decide and give the project weekly time

Another model fits better when

  • The scope isn't settled and needs a discovery phase first
  • You're replacing a system that's already live
  • Long regulatory or certification cycles are involved
  • What you actually need is ongoing engineering capacity

PROCESS

How the 90 days run

WEEK 1

Scope Cut

We reduce the idea to one core flow and write down the success metric and the boundaries of release one.

  • Core flow and success metric
  • Next-release list

WEEKS 2–3

Design and Architecture

Screen flows become clickable while the data model and technology choices are locked in.

  • Clickable prototype
  • Data model and architecture decisions

WEEKS 4–9

Build Sprints

We ship weekly. Every week closes with a build running on real data that you can click through.

  • A working build every week
  • Open feedback loop

WEEKS 10–11

Hardening

End-to-end tests, performance, error tracking, and authorisation edge cases get closed out.

  • End-to-end test coverage
  • Monitoring and error tracking

WEEK 12

Launch and Handover

The product goes live, source code and documentation are handed over, first usage data is watched.

  • Go live
  • Handover session and documentation

FAQ

About MVP Fast-Track

Yes, as long as scope stays on one core flow. What holds the timeline isn't team size, it's scope discipline — which is why week one is spent cutting scope and everything left out goes on a written list.

Yes. It's written to the same standards we use on long-term work: type safety, tests, a release pipeline, and documentation from day one. We don't treat an MVP as a prototype to be discarded.

You do. The repository is opened in your account on day one and all IP stays with you. It's handed over with the infrastructure access at the handover session.

It can, on a swap basis: if something new comes in, something of similar size goes out. That keeps the date and the budget fixed.

Two options: book the team for a defined next release under On-Demand Projects, or move to a Dedicated Product Team and keep developing continuously.
